As we all know, Cloudflare, as a great benefactor in the Internet world, has many useful and even free goodies. Today, we will talk about Warp, which can not only be used to unlock unsupported streaming media such as Netflix and TikTok on VPS servers, but also to be used for scientific purposes on devices. Plus, with optimized IP selection, we can't guarantee 4K on YouTube, but 2K is not a problem, even during peak hours. And most importantly, it's completely free!
Desktop#
Let's start with the desktop version because it has a simple configuration and the core operations are the same. Download the software and set the optimized IP based on this tutorial. Actually, the tutorial by the expert has already explained it very clearly.
Download the Software#
First, download the client software. The website is easy to remember, it's called 1.1.1.1. Download and install the corresponding client.
Download the file from here and extract it.
Get Optimized IP#
Before getting the optimized IP, please turn off the global proxy. Launch warp-yxip.bat and select the optimization mode (default is IPv4). Wait for the program to complete. After the optimization is done, find the result.csv file and open it. You can see that the EndPoint IP is arranged according to packet loss rate and latency.
Set Optimization#
After obtaining the optimized IP from the previous step, we can now set the Warp client to connect to the optimized IP. Find the installation location of the Cloudflare WARP official client (usually in C:\Program Files\Cloudflare\Cloudflare WARP) and copy the provided 设置端点.bat file into it. Click and set the optimized IP.
Now you can open the client and connect to it.
Mobile#
Download the Software#
The mobile version is a bit more complicated and requires two software. 1. Termux, a terminal software on Android. 2. Cloudflare WARP. Since we can no longer set the endpoint ourselves in the latest version, it is recommended to use an older version. I'm using version 6.11.
Then, the client on the phone needs an invitation to get traffic, but we can directly fill it up using the Telegram bot @generatewarpplusbot.
Get the key through the bot, then open the app -> settings -> account -> key change. Enter the key. If you can't save it, you may need to use scientific methods.
Get Optimized IP#
Open Termux and enter the following command:
wget -N https://gitlab.com/Misaka-blog/warp-script/-/raw/main/files/warp-yxip/warp-yxip.sh && bash warp-yxip.sh
Set Optimization#
Open the WARP software. Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Connection Options -> Custom Endpoint. Enter the optimized IP.
Others#
Using Cloudflare WARP may be banned by certain websites.
